Dear Applicant,
we inform you, as required by the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data of natural persons, that the data you provide by filling out the Google grant application form will be processed exclusively by our financial aid team for the selection of scholarship recipients and the processing of financial aid reimbursements. No data is passed on to third parties except to our accountants, the bank for reimbursement processing, and the embassy. We use Google Forms for processing and Google Drive for information storage.

By applying for the grant request, you authorize us to use your biographical information, such as your full name, age, city or residential address, contact information such as a phone number, or e-mail address, and personal information such as a passport, to enable us to collect requests (including yours), to organize the event, and to manage post-event activities.

Consent to the use of your personal information is always optional. In this case, however, without your permission we will not be able to handle your application and participation in the event. For this reason, consent is implied in your registration and you provide it to us when you press the submit button.

You may be asked in the application form or later by email by someone from our organizing staff for other information such as your passport. By requesting a grant you authorize us to use this information so that we can securely handle your request.

Your personal information will be shared with some organizers who volunteer their time to the event, again for the purpose of properly managing your participation. In particular, your contact information, such as your phone number or email, will be used by our financial aid team to be able to assist you in the grant and visa application stages.

Your data will also be stored digitally by Python Italia APS, in compliance with the security measures provided by the GDPR. We will keep them for as long as it is useful for the organization of the event, post-event activities and in any case no longer than 5 years.

Even if you have provided us with your consent, if you change your mind you can always later request rectification, deletion or restriction of the use of your data by making a request to the Data Controller (see below).

If you wish to delete your account and all the information in it, you must email us at privacy@python.it. Be sure to include information proving your identity when you request deletion of your information.
