On PyCon Italia 2025’s first day, explore the Django world with DSF, Djangonaut Space, and Django Girls! Talks, Q&A, and community stories await you. Ready to contribute? Spots are limited—don’t miss out!
Get ready for an inspiring Django session at PyCon Italia 2025! On Wednesday, May 28, the free day dedicated to newcomers, we’re bringing together Django enthusiasts, DSF members, and community leaders to explore the many ways to get involved. Whether you’re new to Django, already using it in your projects, or curious about its thriving global community, this is the perfect opportunity to connect and learn.
During this interactive session, we’ll dive into the Django Software Foundation (DSF), its mission, and how you can become a member and actively shape the future of Django. We’ll introduce the Djangonaut Space program, an initiative designed to help new contributors land their first contributions, and we’ll talk about Django Girls, a fantastic workshop empowering more people to start coding with Django. With talks, Q&A, and community stories, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at Django’s evolution and its incredible support system.
Join us in Bologna for an engaging, welcoming, and fun afternoon dedicated to Django and its community. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss your chance to be part of it! 🚀🐍🎉
